We’ve all heard the famous line from Field of Dreams, “If you build it, they will come.” Which is always our hope as small business owners. That if we build our brand and business, the clients will come and we will be wildly successful. But all too often, I see creatives invest in the beautiful website and build a social following…yet still struggle to bring in the business they need to live the life they want. This happens when you focus on getting potential clients to come when you should be focused on getting them to convert.
When I started my coaching business, I did it in part because I wanted to share these strategies with creatives in a way that was digestible and actionable. As I’ve worked with my coaching client’s it has been so rewarding to see them implement changes that are bringing big results.
But it can be hard to know what changes to make. Even the small ones can get overwhelming.
Which is why when it comes to changing and optimizing things in your business, I recommend focusing on one area at a time.
